Ali decorated our whole flat and I cannot recommend him highly enough, both for his approach to work and for the quality of his workmanship. I am a very fussy customer and have really struggled in the past to find a decorator who takes pride in their work and treats my home as if it were their own in terms of the time and effort put in and the quality of finish.
Ali was finally a safe pair of hands. He worked tirelessly to get the work done within the time we originally agreed. This even involved working through an entire bank holiday weekend (because he knew we – including our 18 month old son – were going to be away for the weekend and he wanted to get all the sanding done which was going to generate a huge amount of dust). He made suggestions throughout as to how we could improve on the work we’d asked of him. He completed additional jobs without complaint and for a fair cost.
He reacted brilliantly when we decided on completion of an entire painting job that we didn’t like the colour and rushed out immediately to buy alternative samples for us to choose from – the whole area was repainted to the same excellent standard by the end of the following day. Even once the work was completed, Ali was happen to return at a later date to help us out with one or two small outstanding jobs – giving up time I’m sure he could more lucratively have spent elsewhere.
We recently moved house and one of our first considerations was whether Ali would be prepared to travel the distance to decorate for us again! I’m happy for anyone to ask Ali for my contact details for a personal reference.
